'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League return

Kane celebrates his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his enthusiasm in returning to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to negotiate a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is at the moment two years through the four-year agreement he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.

The experienced forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German club, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the maiden important achievement of his distinguished career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about going back home as he previously was, and would seriously think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had escaped him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after ending his trophy drought, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
